But, instead of us telling them, they called us and told us about the delay and will arrange for delayed picked up as flight new schedule. Definitely great service from the hotel. The room was spacious even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we thought good value. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

The Icon Boutique hotel is for me an hotel which I could actually live in. I'm very fussy and we were travelling in a group of 8. All of us could just praise the hotel. As other people posted, the location within the city could not be better. It is a 30 sec walk to the bridge and the location felt very safe and secure. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are very clea - Staff welcomed us at 1:20am after late flight and helped us settle in with warm drinks and extra blankets.   The charming hotel built in 1730 is extremely well located at the castle end of the famous Charles bridge just around the corner on a quiet side street. We had a huge 2 room suite with 2 fabulous king sized beds with luxurious linens, 9 foot ceilings with a frescoes ceiling in the living room and very old parquet floors throughout. Our tiny glassed in balc - The hotel is in a great location in Lesser Town, just over Charles Bridge. You can be at the Castle or the Old Town Square within 10-15 mins (walking). The building has character, original features nicely blended with modern facilities. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very cosy. Our room had a king size bed which was exceptionally comfortable. Local beer available straight from the tanks downstairs, food was available but we did not end up eating at the hotel.
