  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  The best about "The Art House" is the location. It's close to a Metro Station, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the Jewish Section. There are several Bar/Cafe downstairs which are nice and convenient. The management team arranged shuttle from the airport to the flat with us. The part-time young driver picked us up easily. He's well mannered... wat mensen zeggen » and can speak English and Russian very well. The check-in manager was patiently waiting for us in front of the building. You can find bakeries for br - Central location, very convenient for access to the Old Town, Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter. The management team were very helpful, we arrived a few hours early and we were able to access the apartment. Being picked up and taken back to the airport was a real help. The living/kitchen/bathroom area of the apartments were spacious but we found the bedroom rather small but did not detract from our break. We would certainly use The Art House again.

  The location was great to get to all the sites. We did the free castle and free city tour which was only 5 minutes away from our hotel. The photos were very true to the apartment. We stayed in a two bedroom and had lots of room to move around. There was a closet in the living room for our coats and other things. The kitchen was enough to make - This place is just lovely - the most perfect location, and a really beautiful apartment that's fantastic value for money. You're only a few moments from the old town square, the Charles Bridge, and a host of shops and pubs, yet it's very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are fabulous - our apartment had an amazing painted ceiling, spiral staircase up to a beamed attic bedroom, and amazing views but also all the mod cons and a very useful kitchen.   The location was amazing, a few steps from Prague's famous sites. We loved staying here. It felt like a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was quiet and luxurious. The property had everything we needed: full kitchen, large table and chairs, and two beautiful bedrooms with super comfortable beds. Many places are ease accessible by foot and trams and busses are within walking distance from the hotel.We could walk to many of the tourist attractions.The staff are helpful and caring and nothing is too much effort. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and clean towels provided daily. Will definetely - Friendly staff. We forgot our toothpaste and they took care of it and bought us a toothpaste. We needed to check-out at 06:30 and we didnt had time to have breakfast so took care of a breakfast-package which we could on our way to the airport. Excellent location, few minute walk from old town square. A good price for this location. Room was clean. We enjoyed our stay and this hotel is excellent for a few days stay!
