  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Not unlike what we experienced in Brno. Since... wat mensen zeggen » we booked a deluxe suite (room 33), we had the comfort and luxury of a real appartment just next to the main tourist attractions. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  Our room was delightful, having a beautiful decorated ceiling and stained glass windows. The room was large and the bathroom was separate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the front of house staff spoke good English. WiFi was free but was inconsistent during our stay. The staff was very apologetic about this so this was unusual.   We give AT THE GREEN GRAPE 4 stars Lenka and Tanya were beyond amazing. With Lenka's knowledge of where to dine, ( we had dinner 3 times at the cozy 'Little Whale'. The food was outstanding. We also had help with planning our day and how to navigate. Tanya's pancakes were melt in your mouth wonderful. The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.

  I LOVED everything about the Domus Henrici Hotel. The location is excellent...very quiet but still close to the attractions. The breakfast was nice with soft classical music playing in the background. At times, I felt we had the hotel all to ourselves! The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. We thoroughly enjoyed the extra large bathtu... wat mensen zeggen » b after a long day of walking. The room and bathroom are very large by any standards. We will definitely stay here again. - Staff was nice. Bed comfy. Room was large with large bathroom. Location was near the castle. And because it was up the hill, it was quiet (except when the men started weed-wacking at 7 am on Sat). We got lots of exercise walking up the hill instead of taking the bus (wore off the good Prague beer). Enjoyed Karlstejn's castle, too, and the Plzen Urquell beer tour. Check the English tour times before you go. We struggled with the German :-)

  Excellent location - two minutes from Charles Bridge. Tram stop right outside, close to metro so it's easy to get from airport - DO NOT GET A TAXI. Free wifi. Lovely wc/shower. Doubleapartment had a a nice kitchenette with hob fridge and kettle, with cooking equipment.
