  Villa Urbi et Orbi was 5 minutes walk to the center and just a few minutes more to the ferries and harbour. The staff were very friendly and we even arranged a drive to the airport through them.   Ivo and Ive are amazing. They were gracious hosts opening their home to travelers world-wide. I stayed there on tow separate occasions and both times my expectations were greatly met. I will have to comment on their willingness to give travel and cultural information about the surrounding areas. Michael - The room had air-conditoning which was perfect after hot days. There was a tv with many channels in English. It was spacious and clean with a mini fridge and free wifi. The owner was helpful and friendly and the bathrooms were clean and great showers.

  The hotel is located right on the waterfront. It is close to the active part of Split. It is near the major attraction, Diocletian's Palace, a unesco protected site. The bus station is a short ten minute walk away which made travel to other towns quite easy. The staff was quite helpful and polite. They kept our baggage for two days for no charge w... wat mensen zeggen » hile we went to Dubrovnik. The room had no air conditioning, but the room was quite cool. Buffet breakfast is included. - This hotel couldn't be in a better spot, right in the centre of Split, not far from Diocletian's Palace, and, more practically, close to the bus, train stations and ferry port. Bacvice beach is not far away. I much appreciated one of the cleaning staff putting a fan in my room and turning it on during the day so I could get a good night's sleep on a hot summer night in Split- and, boy,that's hot ! Breakfast pretty good.
