  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good. A very good a la carte resta... wat mensen zeggen » urant (it also had a buffet restaurant but we didn't try it apart from breakfast which was good), a comfortable bar and plenty of outside seating for - Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem. In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great; wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service . Excellent breakfasts individually made if required.   Easily one of the most welcoming, helpful and service- oriented hotels we have stayed at. The owner/ manager and his staff went out of their way to make our stay in Dalmatia a most enjoyable and rewarding one. The hotel is new and spotless, and very conveniently located to access both the old city and the waterfront. We highly recommend - The customer service at Hotel Marul was superb. The receptionists were very welcoming when we came in, showed us around the hotel and shared insights/recommendations for dinner and activities in the city. One of the owners, Slavko, was especially helpful. He recommended 2 excellent restaurants while we were there and actually drove us to the restaurants himself.
