  Best hotel during our 2 week stay in croatia. The owner, stefania, is super detailed conscious and does everything perfectly. She has so much pride in her place. The views are just stunning (green, mountains, pool, and sea). It's an old farmhouse converted into a palace in the middle of nature, but 20 minutes gorgeous drive to cities and beach. Our room was very nice, it is obvious that they paid a lot of attention to details. The whole setting is quite romantic, one is able to relax completely and enjoy the peace and quiet.   We spent three nights ( Aug 21 - Aug 23, 2013) at the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, room #172. We requested a sea-view room, and that's just what we have got. The room was beautiful, very well designed and clean as well . My favourite was the Bang & Olufsen TV and mp3 set. Beautiful sounds...... The service was absolutely a five star service! I would especially mentioned Marko from the desk, who was more than helpful, always in - Amazing hotel in great location, rooms were extremely well equipped and comfortable.   WOW....we enjoyed a fabulous relaxing three nights at San Rocco to end our 2 week trip to Crotia. This hotel was a remarkable find, total relaxation from entering premises. It is small and luxurious, staff are most helpful and always on hand but in a completely unobtrusive way - nothing being too much trouble.   Charm to the nth degree! Beautiful old style architecture and furnishings in a magical seaside town. Five star staff who did everything to accommodate our needs. Parking may have been difficult (autos are not allowed in the old town) but we did not have to deal with it -- Robert did it all, including transporting much luggage up, then down, severa... wat mensen zeggen » l flights of stairs. We had requested, and received, a top floor room where we were serenaded by seagulls in the morning as we purposely left the wind - Perfect location to explore Rovinj and Istrian peninsula. The staff was remarkable-special thanks to Martina, Vlatka, Mateo, and Marina. From suggestions to where to go, to making dinner reservations, to parking and retrieving our car, and even a surprise birthday bottle of wine-they did it all. Old town Rovinj is truly a gem. Travelers should not miss a day in the medieval hill towns, especially Motovun, Draguc, and Groznjan.
