  The recently renovated hotel is very smart and clean. Our room was a somewhat small, but comfortable for our stay. We had a room on the first floor with nice view of the harbour. The shower is fabulous. The in house resturant was a good value and food is excellent. The hotel staff were mostly friendly, and helpfull. This hotel is ideally loca... wat mensen zeggen » ted for visits to the old town and amphitheater. - excellent food, very nice wine, great waiter. The room we had was a bit small, but still we think it was good value for the money we paid. The resepsjonist was also very nice and helped us with all the information we needed. The location is brilliant, very close to the city center but also quiet and nice.

  This hotel/b&b is extremely well presented with flowers on the big terrace where breakfast is taken, and carpet throughout, which gives it a very comfortable feel and, importantly, makes it very quiet in the evening. Everything is beautifully clean and the choice for breakfast is sumptuous, perhaps the best I've ever been offered. Our room had... wat mensen zeggen » a balcony with a lovely sea view, which is probably worth the extra cost in such a beautiful area. The staff were very friendly. This is a very well- - The guest house was, in relation to other accommodation in Opatija, very good price/quality ratio. Everything was very clean and new. Very convenient to have parking facility. The location was a bit tricky to find and one should be aware it is not right in Opatija. We were looking for an overnight stop on our way south along the coast so it was the perfect stopover. Whilst Optaija is a glorious old Austro Hungarian style resort it is not, (in my opinion only ), a place for a longer stay.
