  great stay - spacious apartament with quite well equipped kitchen (but no kettle available!), close to the rocky beach, quiet (provided you like countryside noise of neighbouring rooster, we did :-)). Very friendly staff. Rovinj is delightful, our best in Istria. - Very good location, close to the beach with a marvellous view on the old city. F... wat mensen zeggen » iendly and helpful staff.   Amazing hotel, beautifully if not always practically designed. The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful. The new pool area and cafe are lovely. The hotel was extremely busy when we were there and it was difficult to get a lounger next to the pool but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of other loungers in amongst the trees. ... wat mensen zeggen » Hotel provides beach towels. Breakfast was good with a huge choice. Also food in bar and pool cafe very good and reasonably priced. Treated ourselves - Spent 2 nights here in Oct.,we were given an upgrade to a Jazz Room and althought it was a bit cool for the water it was great for relaxing! Staff so great !! I can see why it is such a conference hotel as they are very service oriented! Lana at the front desk was delightful and enjoyed meeting the head chef that grew up in Canada(woohoo Canadian Maple Syrup on the menu) Ate in L Restaurant twice and would go back again. Presentation and flavors of the dishes were wonderful. Loved the Croation

  This was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. The staff was amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful. It is built into the side of a hill overlooking a beautiful bay at the edge of Rovinj. Our room was amazing, with a balcony that overlooked the bay and the sunset. The bathroom was bigger than our bedroom at home! The waitstaff is very attentive, and the choices were - We loved everything about this hotel and the region in general. The rooms are large, clean and beautifully appointed; the views are stunning; Breakfasts are delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj.

  WOW....we enjoyed a fabulous relaxing three nights at San Rocco to end our 2 week trip to Crotia. This hotel was a remarkable find, total relaxation from entering premises. It is small and luxurious, staff are most helpful and always on hand but in a completely unobtrusive way - nothing being too much trouble. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel which were excellent but had dinner in the vill - Delicious Food in the restaurant - great quality local ingredients imaginatively prepared. Their olive oil is superb as is their cheaper restaurant in the village. The staff could not have been more helpful or eager to please. We felt very welcome and they gave us great advice on where else to explore during our trip The pool and grounds are stunning. It felt more like an exclusive villa holiday than a hotel.   This is a typical and the best of "casino style" hotels. Yes, I could move in tomorrow as I think the smallest room is bigger than my flat, with all the gold you can wish for. Extreme luxury, comfort, good food and excellent staff. Views are gorgeous and there is plenty to spoil yourself with.
