We liked everything about Villa Paulina although we actually stayed in Villa Lora which is just next door. Simply but beautifully furnished apartment with a balcony view which entranced us. The staff could not be more welcoming. Simple breakfast in well equipped eating area was very good. Although pool is small it was perfect for cooling dips after hard sessions of sunbathing on the comfortable loungers. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer - Brela is a perfect place to relax.

It is a great location right in the center of town across from the beach but it is an older hotel and could use some renovation. The beds were just fair and the bathrooms were old. It was probably quite a jewel in its day but its day has passed. The staff was great and it wasn't a bad value for the money but the hotel looks better on the website

We did though enjoy the room with jacuzzi, sofa-group and wide-screen TV. Very good location (2 mn walk to city centre). Very warm welcome. The host helped us to park the car (quite appreciable in Split !). The rooms are brand new. Each room has a private outdoor terrace. - The owner was amazing and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. I felt like a princess at the cottage. The grounds are beautiful.
