It is a good hotel if you go to Guangzhou for Business. Indeed it is a Chinese hotel and you can have some little difficulties with the language and cigarette (if you are not a smoker). I happened to have lost my laptop in the airport, and I only found out
when I reached out hotel. The concierge people - 2 female staff -
followed up with Airport lost and found dept, and I got my laptop back.
It was more to how calm they were and followed up. They worried about me
as much as I worried about myself. Also breakfast was just amazing!

The staff were attentive and the room service was prompt and the food good. The location is very central and there are lots of western shops and places to eat including the inevitable Starbucks and McDonalds. Excellent welcome, the moment I stepped into the lobby I was greeted warmly and the check-in went very smoothly. I made a reservation for an Executive Room and when checking in I was offered a cheap upgrade to the Executive Club Floor. Excellent value for money, fantastic breakfast... Also really enjoyed the Club experience! Complimentary drinks and snacks in the late afternoon was a real treat! Been in GZ many times and this was the best hotel I stayed in so far.
