  The place is family owned and operated. Very nice people. Very close to public transportation,and walking distance to many stores and places to eat. Sky train is about a 5 minute walk away. And you can take it straight into Vancouver for about 2.75$ each. Neighborhood felt safe and was clean. Price of room was great for area.Wi-fi - Location was ... wat mensen zeggen » very convenient, walking distance from plenty of restaurants as well as grocery stores and public transit. Excellent service. They provided us maps and directions to get around the city. much nicer then expected for the price and given that it is a motel.

  The staff was outstanding. When we arrived it was warm for Vancouver. We decided to cancel our reservation and get a room with A/C. The manager was very understanding and offered us a larger room with more windows for the same price. We are so glad we stayed. The rooms are clean, and have everything we needed. The staff was very nice and personabl... wat mensen zeggen » e. The location was perfect too. I will definitely stay at Oceanside hotel again!!! Thanks Sam, James, and Jack for everything. The Johnson's - Sam at the front desk was wonderful! Smiling, calm and attentive. Upgraded us to a lovely, large room with plenty of windows. Admitted that parking was a challenge, and then found us a nice little spot on the grass. Kindly thought of restaurants we might like after asking our preferences. We never moved our car...walked to Stanley Park, all ends of the city, and finally at the restaurants close to the hotel. Lovely!
