  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   This was an older hotel but it was clean, well maintained, and had a charm about it. The location was wonderful.....could walk any where. The staff was wonderful. Heart describes them best. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

  Great and Helpful Staff. Very close to the water and in the core of Tofino. It was the perfect location for my stay (attending a local wedding 5mins away). Room was very clean. Price was very fair given the location (co-op food store is right across the street, water and pier are half block away, bank on corner, post office on adjacent corner,... wat mensen zeggen » liquor store is right behind the hotel, many great restaurants all within a 5min walk). Coffee is on from 0800hrs to 1100hrs daily. Schooner Pub is - We arrived very late - 11-45pm. The office had closed at 8-30pm and so we were unable to check in. However, the keys to our room were left for us to collect. Very good service.

We stayed in a comfortable, clean room with a lovely big tub that I soaked in 3 out of the 4 days, and enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning. The owners are inviting and lovely people.   The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. - We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful.   The motel was a few steps from the beach. The receptionist was personable. The room was very basic but had everything we wanted or needed--including a full kitchen. - room was adequate - not fancy but comfortable and nice location. Pool was a pleasant surprise - large. I would go again.

The style of this accomodation is resort not hotel( this is normal in Tofino). Every cabins are separated each other. The one building has 6 rooms. That was so quiet. The room was small but cozy. The staff are so kind and friendly, they helped me join some activities.

  Bobby and Jay couldn't have been better hosts, their daughter Ollie was delightful and it was a bonus that Jay had his uncles and mother visiting so we truly felt part of the family. Theresa provided delicious breakfasts and was a mine of information. We had travelled to Vancouver island on a 'trip of a lifetime'.
