  We stayed at Le St-Martin Hotel Centre-ville as a special treat toward the end of a trip that had us traveling long distances with grandchildren and visiting New Jersey, Maine and New York. We then detoured to Montreal to take in the Mosaiculture International at the Botanic Garden. One quirk, the shutters open on the outside, meaning one can "peak" inside the bathroom.   During a road trip from Toronto to Halifax, I chose this hotel based in reviews and wasn't disappointed. The newest part of the hotel is beautifully done. The rooms are equipped with wonderfully modern stylish decor. The bathroom sink and shower fixtures are gleaming and spa like. Towels are so soft and their choice of toiletries ... The iPod dock was great touch as were the lighting fixtur - The rooms were beautiful. We ordered room service for dinner and it was excellent!! .....and reasonably priced. We would not have chosen this hotel except that I found a great room rate on book.com and we loved our stay, even though it was only one night.
