The welcome and organisation was great. the fabulous breakfast and the feeling that you were in a home from home with none of the work! Warm and friendly, beautiful room and house, the ability to relax in the garden with a cup of coffee and a home made cake was great after a long flight and a day seeing the sights. Convenient location, comfortable room, quiet, pleasant and helpful front desk staff. The hotel met my needs as I stayed only briefly. If I was planning to stay longer or had small children with me, I would have wanted to have a car, as the hotel is situated in a high traffic, fairly remote location for a pedestrian/bus rider. -

Staff is extremely efficient and friendly, breakfast is delicious and different every day, bed is comfy and room has good soundproof walls and windows. We loved fresh coffee and tea station available everyday. Printer available for free to use and coin laundry on site.

We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.
We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

We were upgraded to another suite on arrival and we were pleasantly
surprised at the quality of the fixtures, fittings and furniture in our
suite. Every thing was immaculately clean and it provided everything
that you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. It had tennis courts ,

It was close to the town but was quiet and peaceful although there were
plenty of amenities if you wanted to make use of them. It would be a
great place for families and was comfortable and clean. The staff were
great and really helpful we were missing out tv remote and a member of
staff brought one straight away when we called the reception. Breakfast
was tasty and again the staff were friendly and helpful.

The facilites were fabuluous and the staff was very accomodating. The location was perfect since our trip centered around Banff and Lake Louise. Staying in Canmore was more afforadble and allowed us to sightsee a bit more on the way to our destinations. -

The location, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, there was a DVD player in our room, the kitchenette was well furnished. They even delivered a copy of the bill directly to our room for review, so we only needed to stop at the front desk for a minute. -

This hotel is new, well-maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well laid out and clean. The fitness centre is above par when compared to many similar hotels. The breakfast is also better than most. Excellent stay. -
