  The hotel is well located close to shopping areas and restaurants. Parking was complimentary and adequate. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They made our one week stay a pleasure. The rooms were clean and we really liked the fact that there was a refrigerator and microwave oven to store and warm food. The flat screen TV was sharp an... wat mensen zeggen » d there was an adequate line up of channels to view. All of the other amenities were in good condition. The AC worked well and made the room comfort - The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I needed a bath chair and raised toilet for my elderly mother and they were delivered promptly on our arrival. Also the were super with me allowing my dog to stay! Our room was at the end of the hall and I loved that we could just leave the do not disturb on the door if he was there and we were out. I also felt very comfortable that had there been any trouble or he had been distressed that I would've been called immediately.

  Excellent location. Nice and quiet. Lovely breakfast. Loved those cookies at check in after an awful icy drive!! Perfect to relax. Extremely nice to have Kelsey's right adjacent so we didn't have to go out into the ice storm :) - My two sisters and I brought our elderly parents to Peterborough to visit their siblings, our Aunts and Uncles and had... wat mensen zeggen » great service for great prices and a wonderful continental breakfast included.   I would highly recommend this B&B. Marlis, who owns and runs the B&B, is a treasure and a very welcoming hostess. She is friendly, helpful and kind. She serves the most delicious breakfasts, eggs, fruit, muffins, delicious tomato sauces. Much of the food was purchased fresh from the local market and some was even grown in the backyard. As ... wat mensen zeggen » other guests have noted, Marlis goes out of her way to make guests feel comfortable and at home. I have visited many B&Bs in Canada since the late - Marlis the owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants, telling us about local activities that were occurring that weekend and made us a custom gourmet breakfast. As well, I enjoyed the location - within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the lakefront.
