Older motel, recently updated. Manager very friendly and an excellent host. First room he gave us had a plugged bathroom sink, he immediately moved us to another similar room, and had the first one fixed that same afternoon. Loved having two separate bedrooms. Allowed me to go to bed while the kids hung out and everyone had their privacy. Management was very flexible as well when we had to leave a day earlier than planned. Very accommodating.

I am 43 years old and my Dad is 88 we stayed here one night on the way to visiting my Brother and his wife. It is a great place to stay. Motel staff and owner all very nice and accommodating. Excellent location and suites were updated and had everything we needed. Great bang for you buck. The staff were more than friendly and helpful as I travelled alone with three teenages. The price is exceptionally good considering the fabulous location. The price was very fair for an overnight stay. The people were very pleasant and the room, while basic, was well cared for and exceptionally clean. This was my second time staying here and it's a really great motel right on the beach. Great value for your money. Will definitely stay here again!. Steps from the beach,friendly staff,clean and budget friendly.Couldn't ask for more!We are planning to return next summer. Great for a family, not so much for a couple's getaway. This is very very minor it did not make any difference to my Dad and I. The Hotel still uses that old key system. It does not have the modern card swipe locks on the doors. Thats was ok with us but some may not like that. The cleaning lady did not leave me coffee for the second morning - but I could have gotten some by going to the front desk. It was quite plain and basic, lacking aesthetic warmth. Didn't get housekeeping the second day. There was nothing I didn't like - it was perfect. Very hot during the night. Difficult to get cool. It is an old motel I can see the owner is in process of upgrading. No pool, but right across from beach. No sugar for coffee, futon arm was falling off. No pen, no phone book or community information. would like recycling, and green waste collection. Exiting the parking area was inconvenient. I did not like the air conditioning ,it's was very noisy. Something in the room triggered an allergy attack so I slept in my car from 2 AM until 7. No microwave in our room. Parking was a bit difficult. No in room phones. Very loud air conditioning unit - could not use at night. Dated property. Old futon with unsecured cloth cover draped over it was the couch. Kitchen table had legs screwed from the inside in an obvious poor repair and was not stable. Spiders nest of eggs over the main light. And that smell, it never went away. It could have been from the previous tenant cooking fish, but it hit you as soon as you walked in. if we had been staying more than a night, we would have looked elsewhere. Room was a bit dated and basic. Lot of noise and music from outside one of the rooms until 3 am and no one put a stop to it. As the disturbance was caused by two bikers and a woman and a lot of beer I was not inclined to interfere!. beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. when we were out all day and left the AC off the room had a bad pee like smell :( the window curtins didn't full cover and felt people could see into the room. Motel is very dated--'50's Bedroom is very small.. Refrigerator noisy! I feel that previous ratings were "doctored"!. room wasn't made up after first night of 2 night stay. The room did not feel clean. There was a blood stain on the comforter. The chairs on the patio were plastic and if you sat back they bent. Expensive for the quality of the room. Poorly furnished and equipped to be a 4 star rating.
