decent price and availability other options were fully booked breakfast was o.k. Big room, clean comfortable bed. Good air conditioning. Helpful staff. It was perfect for our visit. location to Rideau Canal. -Price -Location -Clean. Clean rooms, comfy bed. They upgraded us to a bigger room. The airconditioning unit was very noisy so we moved to another room on the next day. The maintenance staff were very attentive and the Manager was very friendly. 20 Minutes walk to the Parliament.

The visit in Ottawa, mainly the Museum of Civilization. location was good, staff were great. Location, simplicity,room size. The rooms were quite comfortable. rooms and furnishings are dated. The carpet in our room needs changed, or at least a good steam clean. It would help to have it vacuumed to the edges. Room 141 was dated as compared to rooms in the 120 range Door was loose and didn't lock properly and had to use chair propped up door for security as secondary lock was loose and useless. Entire door frame need replacing. Walls very thin, heard everything in other rooms, wifi did not work in our room, continental breakfast very sparse. The Breakfast was very poor. Only one choice of cereal and very basic. the furniture and the décor of the room was pretty worn down (parts of lamps broken, sockets hanging off the wall), moreover it was pretty dark in there due to a small window. not sure why this hotel has a 3 star rating... a little old, strange smell in room. I was given a price on the Internet, $99.00, but I was charged $119.00 on the two nights that I added, supposedly because the price of $99.00 only apply on the internet(?). And yet when I renewed I asked if the price already given would apply and I was told yes. That's not fair and I would appreciate some money back. Thank-you. The room had an awful smell in it, it was very dark as well and internet service was not always relaible - bad because I was there for work and needed to work from my hotel. Also, it would be great if there were more fruit and maybe yogurt for breakfast. thanks. adjacent guests - management lack of control to maintain a comfortable environment. We have stayed at many Econo Lodges and this one had the worst breakfast, plus we had to ask for some bread,milk, and juice as the staff member was busy talking in the lobby!! There was very little choice of anything. first i passed bad night loud noise because of so me tenant . staff had take no action. two if you have choise pay cash. after week i still waiting paying me back pre authorized amount in my credit card. Poor cleanliness Property required maintenance Major upgrading required Too high rentals Poor choice of. It was the only place we found to stay in while we were visiting Ottawa. It was terrible: old, ugly, foul-smelling... But also, they were helding a wedding (!) and the staff gave us keys from occupied rooms!! Terrible. I would say... only if you are desperate.
