  The hotel is well situated near the Berri/UQAM subway station. My room was indeed spacious and comfortable, but also very quiet, even though it faced the street. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as it does offer good value at a modest cost. - Convenient location for a weekend getaway. Only an example here, we lived in a room with a private kitchen and left several used dishes in the sink one day morning (planning to wash later).   The staff member was very nice. I left my luggage there with him very early on check in day (930 am) and also left my luggage late with him the next day (until 500 pm). He was very courteous and made sure to leave me a note with my key and room number the first day so that I would know what room to check into when I returned the first day. THe kitchen and dining area look - This little Auberge is one of the loveliest ever seen. Since we were the only guests (there are only 3 rooms ;)), the host attended to whatever wish we had. He was substituting the owner and prepared the cutest breakfasts for us. Furthermore he gave us some good tips for our stay in Montréal. As for the rooms, small but with a lot attention to detail, they were very comfortable and the bed was great.

  We got a free upgrade to the best room with spa bath and since no one else was booked that day - had the whole house to ourselves. It's really original in medieval style - slanted floors, antique furniture and even had a spooky feel to it which we thought was awesome! These A+ and is highly recommended in terms of value! - The building is very cool and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The hostess was not only a great chef, but fun to talk to. She had an extremely extensive knowledge of the city - sites, stores, restaurants - and made our stay in Montreal one to remember. We will stay here again when we take another vacation to Canada. There are tons of places to see and things to do within walking distance.
