This has to rank as one of the best B&B's we have stayed in, including outside of Canada and was exactly as pictured on the website. We were welcomed by our very genial host upon arrival. As well as being very friendly, he was also very knowledgeable about any events happening in and around Kelowna, the local restaurants and can give you a brief insight about the city. The accommodations were extremely well appointed and of a high standard. There was a very tasty range of breakfast options .
alle beoordelingen » Sid the owner made us feel very welcome and upgraded us to the Jacuzzi suite on arrival. The room was lovely and so relaxing with our own private balcony. We stayed a couple of nights to see the sights of Kelowna town which was very nice and within a 10 minute drive from the B&B. Sid recommended a good restaurant for an evening meal, Raudds which was very nice. The breakfast which Sid cooked was amazing, lots of fresh coffee, pastries and the eggs benedict was superb! There is a nice walk . This was a fantastic find. The welcome was friendly and informative and the guest house was well equipped and maintained to an extremely high standard. Our room was beautiful, as was the entire house. We were given lots of information regarding the local area and great places to eat. Our breakfast was outstanding and there was plenty of choice. I was disappointed that I had only booked one night here and now hope to return at some point to relax and enjoy the guest house and surrounding area. We loved this place! The room was cosy, the bed enormous and the spa bath very relaxing. Breakfast was very good and freshly made, and beside the breakfast we ordered there was a great variety of baked goodies to choose from as well. Our host (we only met Sid) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Great place!. Sid, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. He is also a superb cook and the breakfasts, as advertised, were truly 'gourmet'. Lovely to have the pool/hot tub in the garden. Also spa bath in our room was a treat. Close access to Mission Creek for endless walks, woodland trails and salmon viewing. The owner was very welcoming despite the fact we arrived after the recommended time and disturbed his dinner. Lovely patio area to sit out and have breakfast. Would have liked to stay longer. 100 meters from the house is a wonderful trail for walking or running. The room was a good size, the host was fantastic, the food was great, the facility was clean, outside/inside dining, small pool, nice yard, best for couples. Sid was helpful and friendly. Very clean and great amenities. The gourmet breakfasts were fantastic. Definately would stay again. Sid was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I will stay there again. Pleasant porch table and balcony right outside to enjoy the warm weather and the charming night sky, sunrise and fresh air. we loved it especiallty how friendly the staff were it was a wonderful experience and we would definayley visit again!. The owners friendliness and assistance, the room/jacuzzi/deck set up, the breakfasts, and the back yard. Breakfasts were superb. It was friendly, yet privacy was respected. Host was very helpful. host Sid rocks, a gem hidden where you don't expect it, country in the middle of Kelowna. The hospitality, the creek, the backyard, hot tub, pool,green surroundings. Great Hosts and Great Breakfasts. Nice facilities. Room was lovely and very comfortable but a bit noisy, being on the front of the house which is close to a busy main road. B&B is just a bit too far out of Kelowna to be able to walk to restaurants, though one night we found a nice Vietnamese one in a shopping mall about 10 mins walk from the house. We had to put clothes on to go to our washroom. Washrooms not in room, but through hallway , yet private. Sharp corners on the bedsteads. Everything else Great. Not enough surfaces (tables) and seats in the suite to place purses, keys, etc. Teeny bit of trouble finding street numbers.
