  We brought two young kids with us for an experience with nature at the nearby Algonquin Park. The hotel was an exceptional facility with everything we needed - playground, sandbox, BBQ stoves (there were three for families to share), camp fire, free wi-fi, microwave, fridge, TV, and top it off with a clean, comfortable room - it made the experienc... wat mensen zeggen » e so much more enjoyable for us. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was about 20 minutes away from the West Gate of Algonquin Park, so it - The owners were very friendly and helpful. The motel is attractive on the outside, including a play area for children and outdoor grilling area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Wifi connection was strong and reliable A great value for the money and close to the West entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park

  This is a very cute little motel that reminded me of grandma's cottege. They have working bbq, big fire pit, lots of games - voleyball, badminton etc; beatiful secluded swimming area on the Boyne river, and walking distance from Dwight beach on the Lake of Bays. Very rare but convinient for us check-in/check-out time. My 9 y.o. son even said that ... wat mensen zeggen » he liked this motel better than Deerhurst resort. - Waking to all the trees outside my bedroom window. My room was spotless! I could tell that a number of improvements had been made quite recently. Though near the highway, my room, farthest possible from the road was very quiet. Traffic noise did not disturb my sleep.

  This hotel/motel was a great experience. It's located directly off highway 60 but you wouldn't hear any noise from the road. In front of the building there's a lake that belongs to the property and that can be used anytime. There were pedal boats that could be used free of charge which we did straight away as the weather was great. You could also ... wat mensen zeggen » sit on the lawn in front of the lake and enjoy the day. Moreover, they have a trail on the property (which we however did not try out). The entrance o - The hotel is very well located, gives straight onto a lake where you can kayake or just sit and admire the scenery. Very close to Algonquin park, it is a perfect spot to set off and come back to. The room was really nice, spacious, and very clean. We appreciated the staff, they gave us a warm welcome, explained about the park, the restaurant and the room. We liked the facilities in the room: microwave, fridge, cutlery and the chairs outside on the balcony.

The location is excellent, very close to HW60 but in a quiet area with private beach. The cottages are old but with all the basic necessities.
