For the price we found the room to be rather clean looking with a nice flat screen, mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was very clean as well. We had our dinner in the little pub downstairs and found the food excellent (my wife had the lasagna and I the steak). I had stated here a few years ago when under different management and found the place old and musty. Since then under new management: a total makeover! Found the hotel to be clean, modern and great value for money. Many updates, great outdoor pool as well,.

It is much better than most of the so called hotels I have lived, clean, quiet, and the interior of the room is better than most of the known hotels. I would say as an inn, the price is worth it. location; there for a wedding and when we arrived were told check in was not until 3pm; our wedding was at 2pm so they accommodated us and got our room ready by 12:15 which we appreciated very much. We love the size of the room. The little patio at the back and the vanity corner with mirror outside the bathroom was really a plus. Beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well set-up. The continental breakfast included was quite good and overall the "best Value Inn" WAS good value. Conveniently located. The room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely book here again...and the bed was very comfy!! The staff were very friendly..... I appreciated the friendly staff and the very clean room we had. The continental breakfast was very good too. It was a good value motel for the money. Liked the location. Price, location,room,help was very good in the office dept, I will return again there again on my next vacation to PEI. we were upgraded to a room with a king size bed and a walk in tub at no extra cost; that have a very good breakfast. The Staff were very friendly and responsive to our enquiries. they went our of their way to be helpful. So there was really no where to hang the towels. The water pressure and narrow shower head was also a bit disappointing. While easy to find from the main roads into Charlotteville, the Inn and Suites was well outside the downtown area (a 10 minute drive). The Internet was very slow at times. Can't really say that there anything I didn't like. The cave, bar down stairs I though was not what I up to same level as the rest of the motel. the water pressure in the shower was very weak. it was all fine. pillows were not very comfy. snow storm but I don't think that was their doing. It seem to hit the heater unit on such an angle as to create a storm noise all night. On the expensive side. Clock radio went off and woke us in the middle of the night. We had not set it. It was a short stay,only two nights. I hope to have a longer stay in future. One day the dining room was so cold we had to keep our coats on.Snow removal up to the door was a little slow. No elevator to carry luggage to the upper floor. Air conditioner was broken. there were wasps in my room.I counted 6. when I reported this at checkout there was no concern, apology or offer of compensation. Just a shrug and a comment that yes they were aware there was a problem. Had to upgrade to a better room. The original "standard" room was dreadful, surrounded by trucks and renovation. Complained and upgraded to what i would call their standard room or at least those there were more of nearest the reception area. We had trouble with the lock, couldn't get in and out of the room. They finally switched us to another room, we decided to have a cup of tea...no coffee pot. Just a lot of hassles for the price. I would give this motel a 3. Motel needs reno work. The room had very worn furniture and appearance- like a sleezy hotel. It should have been priced lower and rated much lower.
