recommendation we placed at booking. Casa petunia is a place were you

The atmosphere was quite intoxicating leaning toward the exotic. The proprietor made us feel very at home almost as if we were staying with welcoming friends. Mornings couldn't come soon enough anticipating the excellent breakfast that awaited us. The Atlantic beach, walking minutes away from the pousada was beckoning. The rooms were comfortable especially the lobby and dining area, which was filled with exquisite art and furnishing from Bali. Casa Petunia far exceeded all of our expectations.

Super friendly staff full of lots of tips and hints about the town. Redfish is quirky in the best possible way: the artwork, the indoor jungle garden. It's small so you can get to know other travellers. The staff is helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts are wonderful.
Salvador can be a bit daunting so it's good to be just on the edge of Pelhourino but only 5 mins walk downhill.

Nice location, nice view from the room. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip. They give the best advices, arrange airport transfer and nice chatting in many languages which you may not find in elsewhere in Salvador. They try to find solution for all special needs.
