  Excellent location - right across from beach (hotel had its own tent for guests) and flea market; good service in restaurant/room service; free internet - Very well located towards Ipanema end of Copacabana. View from front rooms is the classic postcard shot of Copa beach. This comes at a cost though as traffic noise from Av Atlantica is load and c... wat mensen zeggen » onstant. Very good breakfast and nice rooftop bar. No swimming pool but there are two spa baths on the roof, but I did not use as the water looked a bit suspect.

  Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant.   We stayed at the sol Ipanema for 3 nights at the beginning of March. We chose a deluxe sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 11th floor and had fabulous views in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning and had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, the second time... wat mensen zeggen » because the rain was too heavy to venture out! Both meals were of a good quality. Other guests commented on the small rooftop pool but quite frankly - Incredible location..very clean and nice rooms. Though I had to wait about an hour to check in but the front desk infact particularly Mr. Leonardo was kind enough to check me into a spacious sea view room though I had a mountain view booking. The lobby is quite comfortable and they serve you very well and too be true very well priced. The roof top bar & pool again are a joy giving a breathtaking view of the beach all around. To sum up a great place to stay and I would return soon..

  - Rooms were quite basic but clean and well cared. - The rooftop and pool didn't look so great on the hotel's pictures but they actually are super nice!!! The view from the rooftop is beautiful (view on the beach and Corcovado's Statue) and the pool is just perfect when the temperatures are high. - Breakfast buffet was good overall (not excellent... wat mensen zeggen » but good for the value) - Free wi-fi - Helpful staff at the front desk speaking english - The location was really convenient (1 min walking from the - We couldn't fault our stay here. The rooms were lovely and they even upgraded us from a standard to a superior suite. The roof top pool was a little oasis in the middle of rio and had fantastic views over the ocean. Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.

  From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing. The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!) and were upgraded to a suite with spectacular views of Copacabana Beac... wat mensen zeggen » h. Great location, excellent facilities including lounge chairs on the beach. All inclusive mini bar, late check out. We only stayed one night at the - Friendly and helpful staff. We had mentioned on the 'special request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture. Spacious reception area fantastic sea view if you get any of the front rooms perfect location very good housekeeping service

The pool area is lovely but they should put more lounges, it was only few and not enough for everyone so if you wanna sunbath you better get there early. Rooms very well desingned and big with a gorgeous view to the sea.
