  This is an almost brand new family run guest house on the outskirts of Paraty - it is gorgeous! Fantastically designed and modern, great pool, afternoon tea/ cakes, great breakfast, bike hire, free wifi and use of modern computers with fast internet. Comfortable and inviting open plan seating area and a great garden. Would be good for families and... wat mensen zeggen » couples alike. local bakery and pizzeria within very short walking distance of Pousada. - We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Don Juan, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. The facilities are brand new and very clean. Breakfast is very well stocked and they offer an afternoon snack that is just perfect to pick you up after returning from an adventure.

  This place is fantastic! We have travelled in Brazil a lot and this is the nicest place we have ever been. It is the perfect environment to relax, chill out and have a laid back time. The owner is generous, very friendly and spoils his guests wherever he can. He even offered to make fried eggs and crepes for us for breakfast. The room is clean an... wat mensen zeggen » d comfortable. The shower was always hot and nice. We personally enjoyed that there are no kids around. We loved to watch the cats, monkeys and birds - The Pousada was very well designed, you can see that the owners and the team pay a huge attention to the needs of their guests and also to the conditions of their property and facilities. They all were so friendly and even helping us to find a nice place on our way along the Costa Verde. They serve real good breakfast, have a nice garden and the rooms are equipped with all you need. But the biggest WOW-effect was to see that they focus 100% on the well-being of their guests, without any stress.

  The Staff was extremely helpful. The manager Luci goes out of her way to help. She knows which tours to take and can help you get them set up and she speaks perfect english. She is there at breakfast to meet and greet and to help with any questions. This is a great place to stay whether you are a "Gringo" or a Brazilian - I shared a room with... wat mensen zeggen » a friend and the hotel had a great set up with 2 bathrooms and separate beds on a loft type room. Really comfortable. Great breakfast. There were pet cats there which adds to the honey atmosphere. They offered great suggestions for restaurants and a boat excursion with Sr. Antonio!
