  Chez Max was a comftabel pousade. Especially the restaurant we really liked. There was every evening live music, nice food and wine. It is on the third beach so a little bit more quitte than the more busy beaches which is nice. When we forgot an ereader someone of the chez max ran to us and gave it to us just before we got on the boat which we wer... wat mensen zeggen » e really appreciated. The bungalow was not so cosy as we expected. The lights were to bright, the bathroom is not so clean and the feranda was a littl - Loved this place! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was great, had air con and a fridge. The location was perfect, only a couple of ins to the action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.

  Great price and good location in the village center but steps from the beach. Breakfast is included and was delicious with lots of options - eggs, fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and meats.   Overall was an excellent experience. Juliana met us at the port and brought us to our rooms. The bed was nicely decorated with fresh flowers in a heart shape. Breakfast is spectacular. Pancakes and the bruschetta being personal highlights. Close enough to everything, yet far enough away fro peace and quiet when you want it. You can take day trips from there after enjoying - Pousada de Porto de Cima is a wonderful choice! The rooms are bungalows set in a forested area (no mosquitos) lush with exotic flowers and blue hummingbirds, very quiet, and yet just a small walk to the best restaurants and hubbub of the island. There is a isolated beach just down the hill from the hotel where you can swim and take peaceful walks.   It was very close to the 2nd beach and the restaurants. The owners and staff were excellent, always helpful, giving us suggestions about what to do or visit in Morro. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a hammock, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower. Everything was clean and tidy.   Location was relatively quiet for being on the segunda praia as offset from noisey area but only 2min walk from action and beaches. Staff were polite and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable which was fortunate as we were there for over 2 weeks.   It was the First time in morro de sao paulo and we decided to forego a hotels in favour of pousada xerife. This proved the right choice. The pousada is a perfect home for a few days (but not only!). Waking up in the morning to the sound of nature gives you an idea of the type of quiet local . The room was great and very comfortable. I loved every moment of my trip which is why I stayed an extra two days (I even had to sacrifice going to another place on my list, but it was worth it to stay at Andres and Fernanda's place.) The place is so relaxing and comfortable. Also, it's close to many wonderful spots like the clay beach. However, many days I didn't even le - A very friendly owner. He cooked us a very delicious dinner after our long journey to the island. Very very beautiful beach.
