  The staff was very nice. The rooms were cleaned daily and whole pousada was very clean. Very nice decorations. We really liked the breakfast, and all of the meals ordered in restaurant for dinner. Really good food (especially the salmon). The location is nice, not far from beach but quiet. - We were here on the recommendation of our hosts in Braz... wat mensen zeggen » il. The first room assisgned to us was in an undesirable location in the hotel (right over the pool, we wanted more quite) and the front desk was very quick to respond to our request for another room. In a good location for the beach.

  Great place!! Giovana and Mauro are the best hosts for sure!!! - The breakfast is buffet-style and very complete, but do not expect something extraordinary. The location is more or less good. You are close to Geriba beach, but I preferred the other beaches, which are a bit far.

  Its a great place to getaway and relax. 10 min walk to the beach. The staff and the owner are very nice. Its a prefect atmosphere if you just want to getaway for a few days. Though the pousada was almost fully booked at no time we felt that it was crowded. The breakfast was nice and the afternoon cake/coffee is a good addition. - Fantastic servic... wat mensen zeggen » e. The staff prepared breakfast for us even at 12 oclock - when we overslept. We stayed over easter and got a easterpresent with champange and chocolate. Always friendly and helpful staff, beatiful view with a pool. Recommended!

  We were very impressed with our stay here, and it was a welcome luxury after staying in a hostel in Rio for a week beforehand. We received a welcome Caiprinha which was delicious..the best we tasted in Brazil! Our room was very comfortable, bright and clean. The grounds are beautiful, lovely poolside to relax by and a nice bar with a lovely lounge... wat mensen zeggen » area to sit in to enjoy a drink! The breakfast was very good, a big selection of fruit, pastries, breads, juices and a small selection of hot options - The pool area is lovely ang the services laid on by the hotel are great, like the free yoga class, foot massage, city tour and shuttle into town. The room is modern and well designed with satellite tv and dvd, with films to borrow. English speaking staff were a godsend and all go out of they way to help. Free WiFi really helps too.

  Just to make things clear I have never ever spent 1 second in my whole life to comment on a stay... I simply don't care enough to do so. But L'Escale really blew my mind in terms of service, comfort and friendliness that I can simply not, not share my experience. First, L'Escale is perfectly located. The owners (very nice french couple) ar - Good location, you can reach some beaches and the centre by walking or taking the bus close to the pousada with just 2 real. Good food , the french chef (the owner of the place) is really good and the atmosphere is relaxed. - Lovely little guesthouse with really sweet rooms and nice ensuite bathrooms. Very friendly hosts. Very clean. A nice 5-10min seaside walk to the centre. Lovely restaurant with included yummy breakfast. Perfect for a couple.
