  The very old downtown is fascinating to be in an old and restored hotel and to stay in a so big room as old times: even the bell of the old church of Se (which annoys some people) for me it was a pleasure to hear. The breakfast is very reasonable and good and the staff very friendly. I loved there and I will be there all times I go back to Belem:... wat mensen zeggen » it's an attraction itself to be at that hotel. All of this for a very cheap fare. - the manager who spoke very good english was very helpfull in expaining to me some of the things to do and how to bet them like the ferry up the amazon. best area i found in belem

  De lokatie was prima. De meeste belangrijke gebouwen waren op loopafstand te bereiken. Ze hebben niet al te strenge regels. Ze hielden erg rekening met het feit dat we twee kleine kinderen hadden. Zwemmen mocht eingelijk tot 7u 's avonds maar we mochten erna ook zwemmen. - Beds were comfortable and air conditioner kept room cooled. Located near shopping mall and tourist agency - manager and staff of the pousada were very nice and helpfull (speak frnech) so no waste of time for our visite. very clean, calm, quiet, wifi ok, clim and swimming pool apreciated;
