  Lovely welcome from enthusiastic hosts, stayed in characterful 'caravan' (other rooms available if less rustic accommodation is preferred); delicious Continental breakfast of high quality locally sourced meats, cheeses, bread etc. We stayed only one night en route to Alsace from uk, but this could be a superb base for a countryside break in a beau... wat mensen zeggen » tiful area - The welcoming and service was superb. We had breakfast included, which was impeccable and delicious. Rooms were very clean and comfy enough, the water in the bathroom had a lot of pressure, so those showers were really enjoyable. And two lovely well taken care of dogs will keep you company outside.

  The apartments are tremendous. At the 160 euro per night price (for 4 people) on letsbookhotel.com, it was a great deal. The kitchen is very well equipped. It is close enough to the highway and La Roche, yet still very much in the country.   The friendly welcome by the owners and staff was only the beginning of a wonderful weekend at Château de Grandvoir. The countryside location is great, and the original buildings and rooms have been carefully renovated, mixing the old and the modern with perfect taste.   Beautifully renovated family run hotel. We stayed when it was quiet but you can tell how wonderful the atmosphere would have been during the main season. Still, we were personally looked after and had the hotel to ourselves. Amazing rooms with a personal touch.   The hotel is superb. Rooms all brand new and very well equipped. Handy shop downstairs. Uk bbc tv channel was great as I was travelling alone. My open top car was parked in garage forecourt but it was untouched by anyone with all my luggage in it. I left 1 bag laying around by accident with all my maps in and someone handed them in for me!! Great ... wat mensen zeggen » for a biker stop over. - This was a very nice hotel, but it was a shock when our GPS told us we had arrived at our destination, and it was attached to a gas station! My first reaction was to look for another hotel, but we went inside and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet is downstairs in the gas station/hotel. It was good - just weird to me.

  Southern hospitality combined with Northern professionalism - what else can one want? We very much enjoyed staying at this excellent B&B - the room was very clean, the neighbourhood is beautiful and so peaceful (one can hear the the river flowing), there is a beautiful garden plus parking space, and - last but not least - the breakfast is real... wat mensen zeggen » ly hearty, composed of local produce (goat cheese, blueberry yoghourt, marmelades and jams - all home -made). - we enjoyed breakfast, which was delightful, with fresh orange squash, and many home-made products such as jam, goat cheese, yoghurt and a wide choice of croissants. The bathroom was large and comfortable. The owners were kind and ready to give us any kind of information altough we stayed there only for one night

  We loved the decor and relaxed ambience and quiet location. We arrived in the late afternoon and whilst Bernard cooked us a delicious dinner of duck with raspberry sauce we sat outside in the sunshine with a bottle of Rosé wine looking out over the woods an fields. We had fresh eggs for breakfast from the hens in the garden the next morning and ... wat mensen zeggen » would highly recommend a stay here - Nice and small B&B run by a young couple. Very good food both at dinner and at breakfast. Room was tidy, clean and charming, with wooden furniture and a fascinating atmosphere. Surrounding forest and villages are well worth a visit.
