Wat mensen zeggen
The hostel was literally opening the day to arrive so the owners were a bit rushed to ensure things were in place for our arrival but they were very friendly and apologised for the mess and rish of things. The hostel is very very central and very well setup. The rooms are nice with their own kitchenette and nice bathrooms. The hostel is very secure with card access only after hours. No internet access when we were there as it was being connected but the WiFi signal was good on the top floor so . alle beoordelingen »
This hostel is brand new - I had to take the price stickers off my cup & plate! FANTASTIC!!! Really great host, Tom, was friendly & helpful even though he was juggling temporary "teething" problems with cards & systems. Rooms are good size, well furnished, good bathroom, kitchen sink, fridge, & 2 burner stove, and good heating. I had planned to stay 1 night but extended to 3!.
For a small amount you get a lot: a relatively large room with kitchenette, small bathroom, large table comfortable bed and free internet connection in your room - all this in the heart of the city, near tramway stations.
The staff is very kind and helpful.
I shall certainly return to this hostel! It would be a pleasure to stay there for a whole week.
Everyone that worked there was really nice and friendly. The bed was
extremely comfortable and the room was really clean and comfortable.
Also, it was in a great location. I truly was sad when I had to leave. I
never leave comments like this but I recommended this place to all my
friends going to Belgium.
The single room alloted to me had a very spacious interior with facility of kitchen and reading table. Its too good for the money that you pay. The staff was very friendly to receive me late night and in arranging the things that I find missing in the room.
The hotel is brand new. They have just opened a month ago. The location is excellent in the heart of the city, walking distance from everything. The heating system was good unlike other places within the same price range. The staff members are very helpful.
Absolutely faboules! Verry friendly staff, verry verry clean rooms and
bathroom, verry good location! It was our first time we booked this one
and we defenetly will book again if we go back to gent. Highly
recommended bij Anita and Jamal.
very warmhearted staff; very good value for money; even provide cooker, cutlery, cups, glasses, etc; fantastic staying experience there, make good use of your kitchen!.
The place is newly arranged and clean, the room with the small kitchenette has everything you may need, the staff was helpful. Location is also good.
very new, kitchen facilities, lift, quiet, warm, close to tram, only 8 minutes from railway station, close to the city center.
The hostel is fairly new. Good, spacey rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Closeness to venue and city.
Flexibility and friendliness of the staff
Affordable prices
Good location.
Great location, very friendly staff.
Good location, very clean.
Price, location.
very friendly staff at the reception.
Missing a few finishing touches like toilet roll holders, hooks etc in the bathroom but they will all come in time. Normal price was a bit steep for budget conscious backpackers but we were given a preferential price due to a mix up in the booking system.
Leaving :-(.
At the moment, the hostel is surrounded by huge working areas, as several buildings are renovated completely. During daytime, there is some noise outside. But in a few months, this might take an end...
The room looked a bit empty, as there aren't any paintinges or posters on the walls. On the other hand, you are not embarrassed by pictures you don't like...
The only things I didn't like were the hallways smelled kinda funny
but our room didn't so it was totally fine. Also, there was no
microwave or oven so cooking food was somewhat problematic. It was nice
that there was a stove but I still would have liked a microwave or
something. But other than that it was awesome.
Since the hostel is aiming to provide staying facility for students, they didn't provide any necessary accessories inside the room like floor mats, carpets, toliet accessories etc. Also the hostel was still in the making and it was not completely ready when I stayed. So, be ready to smell paints and new room fragrance.
Very fine things need to be tuned but that's expected for a new place. The fridge in the room needs to be slightly raised from the floor as I always hit in the fridge door.
Noting at all! Ow wait... The louzy typical Belgium weather,
that's all!! :).
how can you say anything bad to them?.
It does not give much comfort, eg no carpet in the bathroom, no hairdryer, only 1 glass in the cupboard etc. they provide the essentials but nothing above.
The rickety ladder to the top beds. Lack of (free) parking.
Window vew.
no credit card payment, the smell of paint. This is temporary, new hotel.
Nothing important.
the bedroom was not cleaned. there were potato chips all over the floor. a no go!.
