  We chose the Gilain for the gourmet experience and it fulfilled its potential. The menu was incredible and on discovering it was my husband's birthday they had a candle for his pudding! The staff were very accommodating, even providing an off the menu meal for our young children. Breakfast rated a 11/10 from our 10 year old daughter with freshly m... wat mensen zeggen » ade bread and brioche.The location was perfecr just off the main road, with a view of the fields. - The personable and friendly welcome. Antoine was extremely helpful, he was happy to translate and explain the menu in English. He was attentive, funny and nothing was too much trouble. The dinner was absolutely superb, the best we had in Belgium. The head chef and his team certainly know how to wow their guests and the attention to detail was first class.

  We have selected this hotel in an extremely picturesque small village to celebrate my 60th anniversary not even relying on tripadvisor's high rating but sooner being admired by the photos on letsbookhotel.com. We are happy we made the right choice. We liked everything about the hotel. Great bedding, quality construction with lots of charm. Loved the little village of celles. Would love to stay a week just to relax. Should plan food around the closing days of the restaurants in the immediate area. This way you can walk to food. A larger town Dinant was 10 min drive and a nice shopping mall about 30 min up the e411 in Louvain-de-Neuve called L'Esplanade. Loved the countryside. A few small Chateaus are scattered around the region and a short drive away.
