The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing or snobby like in some other higher end hotels. Their manner of taking careof guests is superb. As a "fussy" traveller, I highly recommend thishotel for their first class service. It is not too much nor too little.It is amazing to know that we were taken care in every little way andstill feel it when we think back.

  Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Charming setting with tree lined driveway and a rustic atmosphere throughout the hotel. The food was superb, breakfast had a wide assortment of typical German / Austrian foods. Our evening coffee and dessert was fantastic. Some may be concerned because it is outside of town but we found that to be an adva - Perfect location - not too far from Salzburg and still outside so you can enjoy a romantic holiday outside the city, but close enough to have a romantic walk in the city centre. Nice hotel, high quality rooms and equipment, nice and helpful personnel.. Looking forward to come back again :)

Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful.
