  We felt that we included with the family, not simply anonymous guests passing through. We got to meet young Maria, and one of the owner's three sons even played for us on his accordion! The food is quite good, and iteresting activities seem to occur during the week, such as a tango night. Salzburg is readily accessible As a side-note, we had lef - Who wouldn't love to visit family in a 400-year-old curiosity of a house with winding passages, multiple levels, and a variety of antiques? My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the neighborhood ambience with an easy walk to the old town center. Like most Europe

  Very close to the centre of Salzburg. Hostess was extremely helpful with directions and booking of tickets for a concert. Budget priced but good value for money. - Excellent location for the fabulous Red Bull Museum. Easy access to the city by bus and a local hostelry only 5 minutes walk away

  Everything is excellent. We did like the swimming pool with pure blue water on the hotel's backjard. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet as well as very beautifully decorated in an old style. The hotel is a family run business who are very friendly and speak the English language. The breakfast is friendly and musically surrounded. It takes 10... wat mensen zeggen » minutes to get to the city centre by bus. The price for the bus is in the region of 2,4 euros. The bus stop is in 6 minutes walk from the hotel. - Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.
