Warm and relaxed welcome by the owner Mac. Well equipped and airy room
with outdoor veranda. Quiet location 10 minutes walk from town centre.
Located in beautiful countryside. Easy access to the town of Yarra Glen,
the buses to Lilydale and Metro to Melbourne City (I did not have a
car). Helpful advice on local restaurants and pubs. Reasonable price
compared to other accommodation.
This accommodation definitely surprised us, especially for the price. The English owner was amazing, and gave us some great recommendations of where to go in the Yarra Valley. The room was spotless, and had everything you could ever need for a short stay. The location was great too, only a short walk from the town. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I have told my friends when traveling to Yarra Glen to stay at Yarra Glen B & B, Great value for money , great service and the bed was perfect , Next time we return we will be staying with Yarra Glen B&B

The room were very spacious and the bed was real comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and you were not hassled by the owner.
The guy that owns the B&B was lovely. such a great guy. He is very knowledgeable about the area and offer ideas on where to go - if you want them.
Room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Electric blanket was perfect for the cold night.
We liked having the continental breakfast already setup in our room which allowed us to eat when we were ready and avoided any awkwardness.
mac was a great host... The B&B is just around the corner form Sticks cellar door and winery. A fantastic deck over looks the Valley and distant rangers.
Owner was very knowledgable on the area and eager to assist with any questions we had.

Location.
The B&B has a nice veranda which is great for breakfast or a quiet
late night drink, as it is shared with the other rooms. The room itself
is big enough without being very spacious, it leaves enough space
besides the bed for a little table, fridge and just to get around. The
wooden panels and bathroom floor give it a nice warm feeling. The room
has a built-in wardrobe which is very convenient to store all your
luggage and clothes. Both room and bathroom are very clean.

Not sure if it is common for B&Bs in Australia but all breakfast
goodies are provided in the room and you have to prepare it yourself. It
has different types of bread, jam, cereal, milk and orange juice. It has
a toaster and kettle as well, but there is not much space to prepare the
breakfast, so it feels a bit awkward to juggle the breakfast together.
The walls are quite thin so any love making on the other side can be
followed quite easily which could be off-putting or inspiring ;-).
Breakfast was not available even though it is supposed to be a B&B.
Proprietor was unhelpful.
No extra blankets were supplied.
