  The sucurity was of high standard. Staff were welcoming and prompt. Easy to find and great access from street. Very clean and well equipped mini bar. Love the freedom of having the kitchenette in the room. Love the fact I don't have to step over and into a bath/spa to have a shower! I liked the newspaper, definitely a great extra. Didn't hear any external noise from our room. - the friendly and professional staff; the size of the studio apartment was surprisingly very large and very comfortable; the restaurant in the hotel and the cafe next door were excellent and value for money. Room was clean; bed was comfortable; shower was excellent and the radio worked! A working radio is a rarity among hotels these days

The concierge staff & in particular Troy gave invaluable advice on how to get the most out of your trip to Sydney. The hotel had been recommended to us & it surpassed all expectations. - The hotel design is unique, the situation to shops, retaurants, Darling Harbour, OperaHouse,buses, trains etc. is convenient. The bed was fairly firm, certainly better than 99% of other hotels.The concierges were extremely helpful too.When the sign to service the room is placed on the door, one's room is cleaned etc almost immediately! A very pleasant stay!10 Out of 10!

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we needed somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight in the morning. On our our arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member, I think her name was Sarah who assisted us with all of our needs. We had a room on the first floor which was modern, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to eat o - Having heard some negative reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find it particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room quiet, comfortable, and relaxing after a long flight. Both the evening bar meal and the buffet breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider using this hotel again, when travelling through, or to, Sydney.

Overall staying in this neighbourhood is a colourful suburban / urban experience. They were really accommodating and efficient, couldn't fault the service at all. The guy on reception when we arrived was particularly helpful and pleasant. Also really handy for the train station and during the day there were some pretty cool little cafes around.

  Staff were very friendly, was a bit worried as had read a lot of negative feedback. Would recommend the place to anyone. The only criticism that I wouold have is that there is no frypan in the kitchens which meant you had to go out for breakfast each day - only one saucepan but thats a minor thing that can be easily fixed - Very close to the tr... wat mensen zeggen » ain station and not very noisy at all - loved the tiled floors as was lovely to come back to after a full on day to take shoes off to a cool tiled floor! Staff were very helpful on the number of queries that we had, and loved that it was so close to the shopping centre.

  Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around. Staff were very lovely and helpful.

  This hotel is great ... We manage to secure a early check-in on the 1st day of our arrival. Plus the staffs are all so friendly, oozing the Australian Hospitality. The best part i like best of this hotel is the location.. location.. location .. just five minutes walk away from King Cross City Train, nearby to major tourist location like circular... wat mensen zeggen » quay, bondi beach. Easy access to supermarkets, cafes in the area. Plus they provide shuttle transfer to the airport at only AUD12 (cheaper than ta - Staff were friendly. Location was perfect. Room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Loved the chill out computer room with free internet. Bed was really comfortable and we were not only able to check in a lot earlier than the usual 2pm check in, but we had been given a double upgrade. Originally we had booked the small double room and we ended up with the king size bed in a really nice sized room.
