Room service was well a truly value for money, cleaners came back more then once a day so if I slept in your room still got cleaned, location and view were amazing and staff always helpful and kind
We have stayed at all 5 star hotels in Sydney but never the Intercontinental From now on it will be our preferred hotel in the city

Attention to detail, fine dining experience at Carillion and wine and chocolates placed in our room after staff were aware we were on our honeymoon.

Rock hard bread (days old)with dinner at room service, broken off door stop in the bathroom. Being informed that I had to have my licence photo copied as I booked with letsbookhotel.com as a third party booking thus treated diffently from other guests booking directly. Noticed the decor is becoming a little tired in the common areas.

The room was spacious with a magnificent view over the botanical gardens and the harbour, the location was excellent. On a busy Saturday in November the staff dealt with a large number of guests, all wanting something at the same time, with calm, friendly efficency. We will definately stay there again.

The friendliness of the staff, they were more than happy to have a conversation. The view from my room overlooking the Conservatory of Music, Botanical Gardens and the Harbour - just beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean. So easy to get a taxi from and to. On site parking. Security. The room decor.
Food and drinks were very expensive, there didn't seem to be any middle ground.

We had 3 couples I should have looked closer when booking as we come from the coast with 3 cars and the $45.00 per day was an added expense we hadn't envisaged. Will read fine print closer next time.

We had someone enter our room with a key without knocking, and she was surprised when my wife was there. We reported it to the Hotel and they were excellent in their response but it was a concern. Also, we were fortunate my wife was dressed!
Easy walk to many areas of interest, restaurants, shopping
They don't provide free guest wifi not even in the lobby. I was also to come back to the room and find that the used glasses have not been removed and replaced. Tear down service by default would have been great.

i loved the service at the Hotel , i arrived early on the day and they had the room reayd for check in which was amazing. Thye are all so friendly and eager to assist in any way possible , very friendly staff also. The location was fantastic, i have stayed at the 2 years ago and really enjoyed it then also, hence me coming back.
the pillows were not as confortable as my last stay . i also wondered if the hotel has spa's in any of the rooms as that would have really topped of a wonderful couple of days. Other than that i loved it !!!

We like the fact that our room overlooked the Harbour Bridge and that we were so close to everything we wanted to see and do.
We thought the prices of some of the spirits in the downstairs cocktail bar / cafe were very expensive and bordering on the ridiculous.
