  The hosts where friendy and helpfull the appartment was spotless and very comfotable.our car broke down on our way out,our host drove us to the cruise ship then rang the r a c v to fix the car he also came down to the boat to pick us up,we can not thank them enough,we recomend them to everyone looking for a nice place to stay and owners who really... wat mensen zeggen » care about there guests - The spaciousness, quality and cleanliness were outstanding, with all of those facilities necessary (washer/dryer, full kitchen etc) to make life easy when touring. Our immediate reaction when walking in was "pity we can only stay one night - it would be so nice to kick back here for a longer stay". The property is only a short walk into the centre of Strahan.

  The house was fantastic, it felt like a welcoming home to return to thanks to the people who run the place. there was not a problem i could have that "JULIE" couldn't help solve, (Yep even car repairs, thanks Michael). Close to Risby Cove restaurants and a comfortable walk into Strahan. Very relaxing, we would recommend it to those who like to indulge in Tasmanian hospitality. Plenty to do while in the area too.

  Ormiston House is a beautiful home which Carolyn and Mike have completely renovated, obviously with a great deal of love. The museum upstairs give details of the interesting history of the property and the home is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Our room was large and decorated perfectly with a four poster bed. Breakfast by the bay - Great location and great property. Full of history and old world charm. Wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable. Had cuppa and freshly made muffins on arrival and each time we came back from an activity. Breakfasts were great. my husband fell in love with the local leather-wood honey.   It was close to all amenities, all within walking distance. Wendy in the office was friendly and efficient. Good restaurant across the road. It was generally quiet and very comfortable - A wonderful place. Megs and particularly Wendy go out of their way to help you. The accommodation was beautifully maintained.

  This was by far the best motel we stayed at in Tasmania. Friendly staff, comfoitable room with all necessary facilities, quiet, reasonably priced. I don't use WiFi, I have plenty of data to check email etc from my phone, however due to the remoteness of the West Coast I had low signal at times, however this had nothing to do with staying at the Villas.
