The owner was very friendly and organised our breakfast (fresh bread and eggs). Extras that were great were fresh milk and little shower products in the bathroom. We stayed in the cottage with two bedrooms (sleeps 4) although there was just 2 of us. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. The fire was burning ready for our arrival which was lovely on a cold autumn evening. The location was great, at one end of the main street. Very nice and friendly staff. We got some problems with our journey and we reached the cottage very late that night. Light was all out in the street and we were so worried that we were not accepted from the cottage for late arrival. It was a warm and comfortable place. And the owner was very nice and considerate. We had a great time and felt at ease.
Beautiful old building at the front, modern well appointed villa at the rear, both with ample room. Fabulous location right in the heart of Richmond shops.
Our host was most gracious and was so helpful when we needed it but also allowed us our privacy. Would absolutely stay there again!.
Everything! Lovely old period cottage which was very clean and comfortable.
We arrived on a cold day and our hostess had a fire burning. She was also able to tell us about local places to visit that we may have missed otherwise.
Vianne was extremely friendly with good local knowledge. The apartment was warm, cosy and comfortable close to all the facilities in Richmond and good for our small group. Look forward to another visit in the new rooms!.
We were up-graded to the villa and enjoyed the extra amenities and comfort. Just a short walk to shops, restaurants and attractions, good base for car travel in surrounding area. Would definitely stay there again.
We booked a double room and got upgraded to one of the cottages. The lady who owned the property was very friendly and accomodating. The cottage was clean and well maintained. An enjoyable stay.
Red Briar Cottage was a lovely little self contained cottage in the main street of Richmond. It was very clean, well catered and comfortable. Great location and the proprietor was very helpful.

Only negative was it was on the main road which was very noisy from about 5.30am onwards.
