  comfortable, friendly,reasonably priced, convenient supermarket next door, also takeaways nearby . it was a couple of minutes from the Silver Dome where we had our convention. The Bed was Comfortable. and the staff friendly and helpful. We found that the spa and pool and sauna was a pleasant bonus, thanks. what we enjoyed was the quiet evenings ,... wat mensen zeggen » as we could sleep well. we would like to visit and stay again in a few months. we would recommend your hotel to friends. thanks for a pleasant couple - The Olde Tudor provided us with excellent accommodation for our golf week in Launceston. It was central to all of the Golf Courses and was in close proximity of eateries, bars, shops and transport. The facilities(pool, spa and sauna) were also an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern and more than adequate in size and facilities.

  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The view from the tower is ama... wat mensen zeggen » zing and I recommend the journey up the stairs to see it. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

  The rooms were huge and the staff were fantastic. It was equipped with a fridge, a toaster, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses as well as a mini bar. The location is handy to lots of restaurants as well as being across the road from Coles for groceries if you want to eat breakfast in your room. Its a relatively easy (and picturesque walk) to get to... wat mensen zeggen » Salamanca and Hobart central. Ask at the reception desk if you need a map for the historical walk to the city. There is also a laundry (free to use) - From the time we arrived at the hotel /reception on the 15 April 2013 was met by the staff who was courteous and greeted us with a warm welcome , gave us information on the property and surrounds with wifi password and advised this was at no cost. The housekeeping was simply excellent with the room cleaned everyday and linen renewed as well. We also liked the proximity to Hobart CBD and the restaurants that were at a hop, skip and a jump , could not ask for any better Secluded car park and lov

The price is no much difference from a backpacker hostel's private room, but it is much bigger, brighter and more comfortable and delightful, abusilutaly worth the price and more. The location is also perfect, not far from the city central and just next to the beautiful city park. And they have electronic blanket that I didn't expect.
