  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  well where do i start straight from making the booking,Tom was on the phone to me within five minutes asking me wether the room i booked was suitable absolute profesional .i told Tom what i was coming over for and he knew i was on the red eye flight and offered me to come straight to motel and drop bags off and he would endeavour about a early che... wat mensen zeggen » ck in .The staff could not help me enough and especialy Tom went over and beyond the call of duty .The motel was very clean and very close to everythi - Very friendly staff who didn't mind being woken at 3am for keys and queries nor did they mind us turning up late for breakfast. Very convenient very clean very comfortable. Shame we didn't get time for pool. Short but very sweet stay.

  Everything was Excellent. Friendly Warm Greeting by lovely staff. We stayed in room 60 which has a spa. Room is very large, small stove, microwave, Iron, Very comfortable bed. Just brilliant. When we stayed it was very windy and not a bit of rubbish anywhere. Well done especially for a place this size. Salt Water Pool, Gazebo and Bbq are immaculat... wat mensen zeggen » e. Plenty of parking. All staff fantastic including housekeeping who couldn't do enough to help. We only live 30 minutes from here and will make this - Location was good, close to a couple of nice restaurants and the marina. We had a lovely sunny room in the morning and it was clean and comfy. Easy to book on line. A suggestion to you is to offer guets the choice of having their towels changed daily, or not. We were only their 2 nights and would have been very happy to have kept the original towels. Saving you unnessary cleaning charges and helping the enviroment.

  The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. There were some delightful little welcoming touches like fresh roses in the room and little decorative bits and piece here and there. A few popular magazines were also in the room. The grounds were particularly well cared for. The free Wifi was indeed handy. I highly recommend Kookaburra Lodge to anyone it is a piece of paradise.

  Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! - The owner Jim was very obliging and helpful.   During the resent floods in Bundaberg we stayed at the motel because we had no boat left. The welcome we received was wonderful. During our stay the power went out and food was limited but they allowed us to continue staying and the even fed us. They even had a generator and allowed us to charge phones and computers. I can not recommend the Rivers... wat mensen zeggen » ide enough. You guys rock. When things settle down we will be back - The food was excellent and our room was spacious with a view of the river. Bundaberg is very different and would only recommend for a stopover as we did. The people however were very friendly.

  I booked in for my wife & I. We are regularly on the Gold Coast for medical treatment my wife has regularly. Manager was Extremely Helpful & friendly. What a Marvelous change. Rooms are Big, kitchenette bathroom etc brilliant and Clean. Bed was Lovely and comfortable. Rooms are no smoking, great, and outside every room is table, chairs and... wat mensen zeggen » ashtray. Lovely surrounds pool and laundry. WIFI for your lap top pc's. Off street parking. I Highly recommend this Motel and we will definitely stay - Repeat visitors here. We love the place. Once again, ( room 4 ) fantastic, clean big and comfortable. Close to beach, public transport, shops etc. What more could you ask for. We stay here each time we travel to the Gold Coast for medical treatment my wife receives. 1st Class Motel at budget price. Well Done :)

  I found the Motel quite a surprise- the rooms where modern , fresh , clean. The bed was very comfortable and the Motel location - no road noise - which left you well rested. I had room service - and cominents to the Chef- my Seafod Pasta was to due for. I enjoyed the free Wifi and movie Chanells. Julianne - The hotel Manager was totally awesome, friendly and welcoming as we had travelled 5 hours to get there and nothing was too much trouble, Dined at Motel 98 Steakhouse restaurant and did not book and it was fully booked out and he fitted us in and the meal was exceptional best we have ever tasted.
