  I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.

  Everything!!!! From walking through the reception door, to saying "See you next time," it was excellent. David and Daniela were so accommodating David's recommendations for places to eat we're spot on, the breakfast hampers were superb, and the freshly baked warm bread ... YUM! Oh, what am I saying??? The perfect getaway location and fully self contained, restocked daily or more often if required without even know they were there (items dropped off at front door), loved the wood fire and the breakfasts, they truly need to be experienced!!

  This place was paradise! Thank-you to Karen and Ian for being such gracious hosts. Our apt was unbelievably fantastic and we were speechless upon seeing it for the first time! The design and location were exquisite. The location perfect for relaxing or day trips.It was so nice to relax at our place- cook for ourselves and eat on the balcony overlo... wat mensen zeggen » oking the sea! Very difficult to leave and hope to return for a much longer stay soon. - The owners Karen and Ian where extremely helpful and professional especially in organising our trips to the reef etc nothing was too much trouble. I was very impressed with standard of accomodation we had two bedroom apartment with a mountain view which was excellent. The location was ideal 50 yards from a beautiful beach but conveniant for all the trips associated with Cairns and the surrounding district. Had a superb time.

  The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition. Craig, one of the reception staffs there, was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us many information about the day trips to Daintree rain forest and the ship cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, etc. The Apartment is quite q... wat mensen zeggen » uiet as it is located near the end of the Esplanade away from the restaurants and pubs, but still it's just ~10-15min walk to the city centre - Excellent place to stay in Cairns. 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre. A spacious apartment, very clean. Great help from the staff. We booked a swim out apartment which was well worth the extra money. Highly recommended.

Plenty of good cooking/serving ware and generous supplies of shampoo/soaps etc in bathrooms/kitchen. Short walk to supermarket, shopping plaza, movies, bars & eateries. Right on river/beachfro... wat mensen zeggen » nt and transport at door. All this, yet quiet at night. Truely fantastic place to stay. - The apartment was fantastic and very quiet. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!
