  With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. - Apartments are very child friendly. Good location for beach and Macrossan Street.

  The hotel is located in beautifully landscaped grounds with access to numerous swimming pools and the beach. We had a ery spacious room with very comfortable beds.Excellent views over palm trees to Whitsunday Island from the large balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff despite being very busy. Good variety of food at the buffet breakfast and lovely dinners in the Pool Terrace Restaurant. - Very comfortable. The hotel staff were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping was excellent. Ample laundry facilities discreetly located. There is a fabulous free shuttle bus service which stops at the front entrance. The sea view rooms have the most spectacular view - waking up each morning looking out over the bay is an absolute joy!! Free wifi internet, available throughout the hotel and pool area, was a real bonus.

  I personally can't say enough about this place. The lovely ladies at reception are so friendly and service with a smile. I was with my teenager daughter - I felt safe here. Everything we needed was close by. The staff are friendly. Woolworths is across the road. Loved it !!!!   The staff and facilities were great, including book & dvd library. Layout of apartment perfect for families with plenty of indoor and balcony space. Plenty of good cooking/serving ware and generous supplies of shampoo/soaps etc in bathrooms/kitchen. Short walk to supermarket, shopping plaza, movies, bars & eateries. Right on river/beachfro... wat mensen zeggen » nt and transport at door. All this, yet quiet at night. Truely fantastic place to stay. - The apartment was fantastic and very quiet. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!

  Our accommodation was excellent - quiet and spacious. Location is amazing. Sunset drinks a welcome addition. As resort guests we were made to feel special - We liked the discount rate and when all the day trippers went home- felt like we near had the place to ourselves. Great location, great service.

  Ze waren erg gastvrij en je kon met alle vragen bij ze terecht, van tours om te boeken tot plakband voor een kapotte koffer. Daarnaast alle foto's die online staan komen ook echt overeen met de werkelijkheid. Het was een geweldig appartement waar we graag willen terugkomen. ---- They were very welcoming and you could contact them with any question... wat mensen zeggen » s, from book tours to a roll of tape for a broken suitcase. All the pictures you see online are corresponding with the reality. It was a great appartm - Zeer ruime en luxe ingedeelde appartement met alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Schoon en netjes en vriendelijk personeel die er alles aan doen om je het naar de zin te maken. Bovendien is dit alles voor in onze ogen een acceptabele prijs. Wij zullen dit appartement zeker bij anderen aanbevelen. Het was een genot om hier te verblijven en onze rondreis door Australië op deze plek af te sluiten. Met één woord geweldig.

  I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. Eddie was very helpful and app... wat mensen zeggen » roachable and always there when we needed him. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.
