We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk.
This is a great location for all of the sights.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures.

The view as we stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront apartment on level 6 and they had bay windows(from floor to ceiling) that slides across to open all the way and the apartment was very spacious. You can also hire bikes for $10 half a day and children under 18 are free.

I loved the facilities. There was a huge selection of things to do including the pool, spa, sauna, pool table, table tennis, tennis court, guest lounge, bar, restaurant, etc. Fabulous! Our room was also larger than we expected it to be.
