  The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed. The Air con was new and worked brilliantly. The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids. There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids. There is a heated pool and spa which were very well kept.   It's been a few years since I stayed at La Maison, and the standard seemed still very good, it is clean, secure and quiet. Continental breakfast is included, and in a very nice dining room. I didn't have a car on this occasion, but it is worth mentioning that there is undercover off street parking. Our room (#15) had plenty of space for the three of us (couple and child) and was clean and well-maintained. We had a car, so u/ground parking was handy with easy access to our room. Included breakfast was basic, but convenient.

  I got lost and was really tired with traveling. Phoned the motel for a few directions. The owner located where I was in the town of Moree, jumped in the car found me and escorted me back. Meanwhile his wife opened up the unit and turned on the air conditioning, I was so appreciative especially as I was traveling with my elderly mother. Thank you -... wat mensen zeggen » The people were wonderful and the location was very good as unlike the other motels it was not on the main road with the big trucks going past all of the night disturbing sleep but was still in the centre of town.

  A kangaroo was lying in the carpark to greet us, lol. Very relaxing stay in the mountains. Bring your own food, coffee/tea, linen, etc but it helps make the place seem more like home. Our stay was in Winter, be sure to gather enough firewood. Proximity to Jenolan Caves is terrific and a very easy descent.
