  This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The gentleman at the front desk (guy from Tonga) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have whitel linens. Unlike any other hostel this one has sinful beds instead of bunk bed. Has clean big kitchen, tv room. Quiet most of the time. Conveniently located close to everything Major at... wat mensen zeggen » traction. Darling harbour is only 5 mins walk. Shopping down the street, opera house about 15 mins walk. Love this place and gladly recomand. Yet few - Within walking distance of train station, hop on/hop off bus and ferry terminals, Seaworld/Madame Trusaud's/Wild World/Maritime Museum/Westfield Tower/Opera House. Clean, easy access, good shared bathroom/kitchen/free laundry. Good sized room with queen bed. Helpful staff. Good wifi in room.

  So friendly. my first time at a backpackers and it will certainly not be my last. staff were friendly and helpful. it was such a relaxed atmosphere that I wish I had got to stay longer. it's in a great location and has free wifi , laundry service, kitchen facilities.   It was clean nd comfrtable, reasonably priced, peaceful for a saturday night, good amenities and adequate self prepared breakfast. Easy to find in main strret maitland - I loved the older style bathroom facilities that were in great condition and very clean. The room had a nice view out onto the street. Really great place to stay.

  Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option. - We have used this chain before and as usual we were not disappointed. They are always clean, well positioned and have excellent staff.

  We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up. We have never been to Sydney before so we had no idea where we we going whilst we filled in the 6 hours awaiting to check in. If we ha - The hotel staff was great and always helpful. The location is simply amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?

I asked the lady on night staff, if I could have a spare blanket as I found the room cold and she came up the stairs with me telling me she would get me a lovely warm fluffy blanket . Discussed with the Staff around the possibility of us arriving back late(after 9.30pm) and it wasn't an issue with them. Made us feel very welcome.   We are from Italy, and we traveled to Australia for a long reportage. We stayed 2 days in Cronulla at Guesthouse 83 and we enjoy the stop. When we arrived we met Mr Kevin, caretaker at the Guesthouse and he was very kind with us. At our arrival the chef was cooking pasta, she was afriad of our italian origin. But no worries, the pasta was perfect!!! At Guesthouse83 ther - I booked Guesthouse 83 for my husband to stay at while he was doing weekend courses in Gymea & Caringbah. All up he has stayed there about 7 times. I originally chose Guesthouse 83 because it was cheap and in close proximity to the training venues, however even when other well priced options came up in future weeks, we decided to stick with Guesthouse 83 because the staff were so friendly and accommodating, booking was so easy, and breakfast and dinner were provided.
