  Goed verzorgd hotel met zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ondanks melding bij de boeking dat internet betalend was, hadden we toch gratis toegang tot internet. - Ontbijt en ruimte vr. ontbijt. Ligging tegenover Victoria market.(niet te missen). Gratis shuttle van station naar hotels. Appartement 60m² gekregen ipv kamer.

  When we arrived I asked if twin beds were booked. She said queen and divan . I thought that was a bit rich having to stay on divan. I had told my friend I usually stay at Mooloolaba as the screen showed the one at Mooloolaba. She then said they could make king into twin. We had booked I bed twin apt. When we came back at 4.30pm. So great stay. - I liked the fact that it was situated near the city attractions but not too close, hence not too noisy. The tram stop was just by the hotel or we could walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. There was a small supermarket right next door. We were on 10th floor and had the views without the traffic noise. The staff were nice and helpful and the apartment was roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

  The hotel suited our requirements perfectly. The location was good, the staff were exceptionally helpful. The beds were so comfortable. Even loved the fact that there was a bathtub which meant we could soak our weary feet and legs after a good day out and about. - Have stayed at Rydges 2009, 2011 and now 2013.   This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds. We had a one bedroom apartment, with kitchen facilities, balcony, washing machine, drier & bath/shower. He was extremely helpful, had good knowledge of great places to get coffee & where to eat. They were just fantastic...nothing was too much for them and they were incredibly helpful at all times. They really showed what good service is about.   This apartment included a full kitchen which I didn't expect - even a dishwasher, oven & Microwave. My husband was ill on the day we were leaving and the staff allowed us to keep our room for longer (free of charge). They also allowed us to store our luggage until we were ready to leave. - The location was perfect. The hotel facilities were good and because we wanted to make dinner in our room, the staff had no problem bringing up some more sauce- and frypans. Overall a good experience.
