  Arriving on a delayed flight into Melbourne via Sydney from Hawaii, we expected all sorts of problems upon arriving very late at the Somerset. However, I must complement their staff, in particular Paul Dale, who were very helpful and understanding. We have stayed at the Somerset on a number of occasions and I must say the staff, and in particular ... wat mensen zeggen » Paul Dale, are brilliant. I commend them for the service, the spotless room and the central location. Bob Langridge - i like there are lots of electric and home appliances, like microwave oven, washing machine, stove, etc. There are shops and supermarkets nearby thus cooking in the room is very convenient esp. my mother is a vegetarian. It also near the melbourne central, queen victoria markets. And many tourist points can be reach on foot. (If you don't mind to walk)

  The hotel suited our requirements perfectly. The location was good, the staff were exceptionally helpful. The beds were so comfortable. Even loved the fact that there was a bathtub which meant we could soak our weary feet and legs after a good day out and about. - Have stayed at Rydges 2009, 2011 and now 2013. Adina management is to be congratulated for looking after their people and maintaining happy staff. Staff who love going to work in turn make for happy and satisfied customers.   This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds.   I had made an error with my booking and due to this we were put in one of their other apartments on Malthouse Lane. It was very noisy and when I complained the staff didn't hesitate but move us to another apartment in the main building. Great service and we ended up staying there all weekend. It was spacious and very quiet and we had everything... wat mensen zeggen » we needed to make a great weekend. The Adina is fabulously located close to everything in inner city Melbourne - you are only 5 minutes away from gre - Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they lent us tram passes and umbrellas. Beds really comfortable, bedrooms overlooking Flinders Street a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper but the view made it all worthwhile! Our friends bedroom had no view and they said it was very quiet. Great location for MCG and anything on the free tram. IGA express next door was very handy. Thank you for making our stay in Melbourne so memorable and special!

  Unfortunately the hot water system died the day we arrived, but management was wonderful during this very testing time. We were kept informed on progress of repairs and eventually taxied to another apartment. Staff also took time to offer sightseeing advice and hints to enhance our stay. Ample eating venues also a good little IGA Supermarket. Reasonably Quiet location for a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed. Enjoyed the bath/spa too ! Extra payment for car parking was clearly explained by staff but all ok. Just next door and undercover. Not a problem !

  This apartment included a full kitchen which I didn't expect - even a dishwasher, oven & Microwave. My husband was ill on the day we were leaving and the staff allowed us to keep our room for longer (free of charge). They also allowed us to store our luggage until we were ready to leave. - The location was perfect. The hotel facilities were good and because we wanted to make dinner in our room, the staff had no problem bringing up some more sauce- and frypans. Overall a good experience.

  Wonderful hotel with pleasent and helpful staff. We stayed in a 1 bedroom city view apartment and the room was large and as the pictures portrayed with a full kitchen and large fridge - much better than some of the other Oaks hotels I've stayed in, and the view was amazing. Location was excellent, so close to train and tram stop, and walking distance to so many different places of interest. Awesome cafes across the street for breakfast! Rooms were very quiet, and the city views amazing. Upgrade to a premium 2 bedroom apartment was real bonus and very much appreciated!
