Everything, the women at the front desk was very helpful. We were upgraded because I could not go up the stairs at the Sandilands to a cabin at the ajoining holiday village. Very impressed with the care given. As an older solo traveller I was impressed when he manager upgraded me to a ground floor cabin rather than an upstairs room. The cabin was clean and cheerful, and the place was convenient to services.
alle beoordelingen » Our cabin was upgraded, cabin had plenty of room, was clean, everything provided was excellent quality, cabins are walking distance from shops and beach. We were given an upgrade to a villa at the park which suited us perfectly and saved us hauling suitcases upstairs. Plenty of room. the breakfast was comprehensive. the room was spacious. reminds me of staying in heritage type hotels years ago. Comfortable bed and great to have electric blanket due to very cold night temperature. Large well lit room and kitchen facilities table and chairs wi-fi if needed. Great location with lovely views, very clean and fresh inside your room. central,easy access to shops and beach. Lovely room in an old house/restaurant. Loved the character of the room. room was clean and tidy. Nice clean unit. Friendly staff. Room was clean, good facilities and central. Nice to stay in old type place - cosy. Cute, spacious room, good view, good location, nice free breakfast. It was quiet,but thats because no one else was there. location was good, breakfast was also good. Breakfast supplied in room. Good choices. good central location,not too expensive. Booking agent very helpful. Nothing, not impressed place was deserted, we were expected to stay in a building that was closed for maintenance, no staff, told no heater and it was very cold, not impressed place was still advertised, lock on door faulty, the lady in accomodation next door was fantastic and offered us a unit for same price. Nothing!. i had to wander about for half hour, because there was no sign to tell people that you had to book in at the holiday park up the road. Access to room - lighting at entry was not sufficient due to the external steep stairs. no microwave outdoor stairs to entrance musky smell in hall area. The bottom half (resteraunt) was no longer open and gave a bit of an eery feeling especially as building was so old. The smell of grease as you entered the communal area is a bit overpowering. stairs step up to shower. front door didn't lock. television didn't work. Although we had booked and paid a deposit, there was no record of us coming. The lady was most stressed but more than kind. Luckily we had the last cabin. Getting charged extra for a sea view that didnt exist. Outside stairs, would be nice to enter through front door and up internal stairs, but understand as there is no staff on duty. The tv had no reception and the dvd player didn't work. When we got there we had no idea how to check in. Had find note on a door around the side of the building. Would have been helpful if one was on the front door. Also advertised included breakfast which i assummed was a hot breakfast. I had special diet needs these were ignored. Shower step in was too high, heater didn't work, nor did the electric blanket work on both sides. Dvd player was not plugged in & on top of wardrobe, hard to get at. smell of stale tobacco in the reception. Place is for lease, all dark, not until I rang number found out that reception at tourist park next door, poor parking, dark finding the suite, I was woman no way would feel secure and creepy. Maybe would have been better if arrived in daylight. OK for last minute overnight stop, quaint, a bit ramshakel!. The smell when entering building Building needed staff and maintenance.
