  As I have trouble negotiating stairs, I was impressed to find a lift in this motel. There was plenty of undercover parking, and I found a spot directly in front of reception and the lift. The staff were extremely helpful and obbliging, and assisted me in making phonecalls to sort out a problem with my credit card on arrival. Unfortunately I - Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful. This was booked as a one night stop over between the sunshine coast and sydney, however, after a night in the Mid-Pacific motel we would have actually liked to stay for a while in Port Macquarie for a couple of days longer. The rooms were really well presented, clean, fresh and welcoming. My fiance and I booked the executive room and were surprised at the quality of the room for the low cost. We will be returning and making this a frequent stop

  The room was quiet and clean. I liked the fact that there was a little table to sit at with 2 chairs, so you didn't have to sit on the beds. The room had everything we needed except a dvd player. The kitchen facilities were clean and included all necessary equipment.The outside balcony with table and chairs was comfy. The location was just a short walk downhill to the Port Macquarie town centre. The motel was pleasantly presented and staff helpful and friendly.

  We were returning to Aston after a really good experience the first time on our visit to Australia. It offers all the comforts and quietness we like and is only a short distance from the centre of Port Macquarie. It is and excellent stop off place from our travels and we are always guaranteed a good nights sleep in very pleasant surroundings. We were put in a bigger room to accommodate the fact that we had a toddler with us. The room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable, excellent Wifi, and the motel is in a quiet location. Hotel offers a lot of extras, like free bike hires, gourmet coffee upon check-in, shuttle service, and ability to charge meals to the hotel from a selected list of local restaurants.

  We really enjoyed our stay at El Paso, the staff for friendly especially the lovely couple who run the restaurant they gave us tips of where to go site seeing and restaurants. The location was a total bonus we didn't use our car the whole 4 days we were there except once when we drove along the beach side to view the lookouts, beaches & lighth... wat mensen zeggen » ouse. Breakfast was nice and simple, room was clean & comfortable, really liked the fact that the room had air con aswell. I would recommend this - Location is ideal (particularly for Glasshouse). Good beds, reasonable facilities, although the buildings are shabby. Breakfast is ok, but water for tea/coffee should be heated before breakfast time. It was always lukewarm until well after opening hours (this should be in not like section)

  Check in was quick and room was very spaceous and clean. Great value for money. Wifi worked a treat and the owners Rhys & Larysa were very pleasant - clearly they work hard at keeping the place running in tip top condition. On check out, Rhys suggested a more scenic alternative route for us to head South and so we went to the Dooragan Natio... wat mensen zeggen » nal Park where the views from the top of the mountain were fantastic! - The accommodation was very clean, even had complimentary shampoo, shower cap and soap, along with a very generous supply of tea and coffee etc. Despite being on a very busy road, the place was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen seemed to be quite new, as well as being fresh and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  From day one it was great place to be, the staff are a big credit to the place, everything was nice and clean and working! My family and I were unfortunate to stay in one of Australia's worst Motor Inns, see for a Few Dollars More we stayed in the complete opposite at Best Western..   We really enjoyed our stay at Town Beach Motor Inn - very impressed with the lay out of the unit and the friendly and careing staff - will stay there again whenever we visit Port Macquarie. 10 out of 10 !!! - Great value for money, it was quiet with no traffic noise.   We spent the night at Koale Tree Motel as our rest stop on our way home from the Gold Coast to Sydney. I like the place because it is clean, well maintained and modern. My teenage daughters loved the free wifi. The small family room where we stayed was well equipped. We would definitely go back to spend more time in Port Maquarie a - if you want somewhere basic/excellent value to sleep on your way thru this is it - would definitely stay here again / a mix up with dates was sorted easily / the electronic access lock on the door is 'state of the art'! / I would stay here if I was in Port longer and make good use of the pool and BBQ area

  We only stayed one night as we were in Port Macquarie for a Floral art workshop and were able to leave our bags early on the way through. If we had needed to stay for the three nights as others did around the town it would have had everything we needed and space to work on designs at night. The pool was clean and water was warm. Other facilities were also great. The room was clean and the location was also good. Walking distance to family friendly tavern and a short car ride into the heart of town. will definately stay there agin if travelling that way.
