  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   I found them supportive, informative, flexible and willing to go that extra mile to help out. I also found the food in the restaurant of an unusually high standard and a perfect and warming way to end my day after intense and pressured days to achieve things necessary to set up my new life in Tasmania before I was due to return to the mainland. Th... wat mensen zeggen » ey helped me find local supermarkets, white goods stores, furniture etc. They were friendly and fun. - The room I was allotted was a pleasant surprise in that it was spacious, recently updated, tidy, clean and had a flat panel TV / DVD and all the usual appliances. The hot water was nearly instant. There was a separate area for relaxing / having breakfast. The poached eggs & bacon I had was better that most an very well presented. Parking was not a problem. I'm told by locals that the onsight restaurant is well regarded.

  I found my room very clean and well furnished, good choice of decorl Lovely bathroom and a good sized wardrobe. Nice soft lighting, - Location, friendly staff and a well appointed villa. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

  We were upgraded (from a studio to a larger suite). However the accommodation was great. Very roomy and everything you needed was there. Great value for money and I would definitely stay there again. Compared to our other stay in Burnie (Wellers Inn) it was chalk and cheese. And the Wellers Inn was much more expensive. Staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. - Manager was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent in value, clean and modern considering the age of the building. Unfortunately we couldn't try the onsite bar/restaurant as it was a public holiday but it was appealing. View from upper deck very nice for a crisp morning coffee. We look forward to coming back.

  The price was very good. For $59, I got a very stylish, comfy, good sized single room with plasma TV and my own ensuite and bath. With a bit of TV angling I could even watch it from my own bubble bath - talk about luxury! The hotel has been recently refurbished and is very stylish. I also stayed in the ageing Batman Faulkner for about the same price, but the Centennial is leagues ahead. - Accomodation was recently refurbished ,lovely and clean a little bit small but did not worry us.The price was fantastic and it was central,had supermarket across the road.Would have no problem staying there again.
