  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   We loved our stay at Hotel Charles. The sitting area downstairs was warm and comfortable, a perfect place to sit and talk, read, drink etc. and our dinner in the restaurant was fantastic!
